My name is Kate. I am a 24 year old pediatric intensive care unit nurse. I live in Canada. I like: Ani Difranco, chamomile tea, long distance running , psychological thrillers, Starbucks, hot yoga shopping, dark chocolate, reading, p90x playing music (piano, guitar & violin), taking care of others, MAC cosmetics, strength training/plyometrics , and learning about obscure diseases. This is my running/fitness blog. I started running seriously in the fall of 2011. Since then I've done numerous 5ks as well as the Disney Princess Half Marathon for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with Team in Training (February 26, 2012) and the Forest City Half Marathon (April 29th, 2012). I am currently training for the Forest City Half Marathon (April 28th, 2013) and the Niagara Falls Women's Half Marathon. (June 2, 2013) I will hopefully do a full marathon in the fall of 2013 :)
